Our Philosophy
We are frequently asked: What kind of lawyers are you? The shortest answer we can provide is: We are problem solvers. A former chief justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia described the lawyer’s role this way: "The reason for the existence of lawyers is to act as problem solvers performing their service on behalf of their clients while adhering at all times to the public interest."
At DuBose & Associates, we believe the best way to serve clients and the system of justice is to combine a lawyer’s skills as advocate, problem preventer and problem solver. We have courts and lawyers because people have problems.
Lawyers add value to their communities by solving people’s problems in appropriate ways. We recognize that high quality representation is essential; however, our services must also be cost-effective and provide value to our clients. We work closely with our clients to identify options, opportunities and strategies that will benefit them.
Former Supreme Court of Georgia Justice Hardy Gregory summed up our philosophy about the practice of law when he remarked: "There is a time to take a stand and a time to find a way. Good lawyering is knowing the difference." We aspire to be that kind of lawyer.
